Gordon was once in a dinner theatre production of "Man Of La Mancha" back on Melmac. He played the role of Sancho Panza. During the opening night of the production, Gordon seized up with stage fright and forgot the lyrics to the opening number. The audience was apparently hostile and began to throw breadsticks at him. The actor playing Don Quixote in the production pulled Gordon aside and gave him a good luck charm - the actor's 124 year molar. The tooth helped Gordon get through his number, along with "The Impossible Dream", the rest of the show's setlist, and an encore featuring a couple songs from "Gypsy".
