I know there are better ways to market my book than just coming on Tumblr and shouting about how it's about sad gays in space, but...my book is about sad gays in space, please read it when it comes out, thank you 🙏

BINGO!
For writer bio/memoir I read Heather Clark's Red Comet: The Short Life and Blazing Art of Sylvia Plath. It was...upsetting. I spent the last couple chapters swearing at many many people in her life (and a few in mine--the ones who had dismissed her suicide as "sticking her head in the oven" as if it were as simple as that and also spoiler her head was never in the actual oven. Anyway).
It's also 45 hours in audiobook so it took me quite a while to finish it.
Since we've hit the first bingo, here's a recap of the books so far!
Graphic Novel - Gail Simone Birds of Prey: Between Dark and Dawn
Read & Do - Diane Duane's Hobbit Seed Cake
Historical Fantasy - Heather Fawcett Emily Wilde's Map of the Otherlands
Science Fiction - Beth Revis Full Speed to a Crash Landing
Indie/Self Publish - Alexis Ames The Chamos Project
Short Story Collection - Saladin Ahmed, Rae Carson, Mira Grant, & John Jackson Miller Star Wars: Canto Bight
Romance - Jo Segura Raiders of the Lost Heart
Bonus - Published the Year You Were Born - George R. R. Martin Nightflyers
2025 Award Winner - A.D. Sui The Dragonfly Gambit
Gothic Fiction - T. Kingfisher What Moves the Dead
Writer Bio - Heather Clark Red Comet: The Short Life and Blazing Art of Sylvia Plath
