Lots of work incl digging by @annetteheldlandscapedesign crew, the some resigning by @cavaliermgmt , then setting it all up with filters, pump, slate leftover from redo, and a salvaged wooden crescent from Charlie’s wood pile. A friend fostered some fish ( #CarterClelland) from my pond at the former SchwalbeHaus. This one... deeper for better winter protection. Three happy fish. His smile was bright, despite the slush raining down from the sky and the bitter cold that hung in the air, and Alex couldn’t help but let a small smile grace his lips as well. Garrett just looked so happy, so carefree; Alex could learn a thing or two from him.

Alex just stares at him. “So we’re not really breaking up. You can still say we’re together, if you really want to. I’m just going to live with John for a while.” Garrett gets up and produces a bag from one of the cavernous kitchen cupboards. “What do you mean I can still say we’re together? That’s like my dog dying and me still keeping it just because it’s my dog.”
