@insoucicnceâ { Shoto } | Surprise Reeves ;;
      The snake had simply been exploring ruins as he usually did when he happened upon something extravagant. His first thought wasnât how beautiful like it usually wouldâve been. Rather, heâd thought that Shoto might like it. An old relic of a pottery that still had its black sheen and gold flourishing details. Heâd cleaned it up in the river and grew some bioluminescent flora in it before heading to go visit the other. Only, he didnât expect him to be gone. When heâd simply popped in, his ability to phase into areas without hindrance, heâd been faced with a very surprised Uraraka and confused Hagakure. After some reassurance that he was just here to meet Todoroki, Reeves found himself being pulled this way and that.Â
Between inquiries and apologies for startling them, he found himself squished on the sofa between a gaggle of humans and felt like everything he was doing was being watched very carefully. What was he to do though? He didnât really mind it and they seemed like they were having fun so he just allowed himself to be jostled about. Though he wondered what they meant when they kept thinking he was a lost kid or something. âIâm over four hundred years old in your years.â Ah, there it was, the look of shock and disbelief. âOver two thousand in my own years.â Though before anything else could be said, he scented the air and knew Todoroki was back. It took him all of three seconds to squirm his way out of the hanging arms and protests so he could dart down the hall.Â
That gift held tightly in his hands, he gave a warm and bright smile when he finally saw him. âWelcome back!â Pay no mind to the eyes peering around the wall, Reeves isnât. âI came to bring you something, it caught my eye and made me think of you.â Ancient pottery depicting the brief story of a phoenix filled with a flower found no where else but in that pot was held out. âI think I startled your friends with my arrival though, Iâll be more careful in the future.âÂ

      The Deity was simply roaming around, enjoying his time and expanding his worldview even more, when he came across the shop. Immediately his curiosity is piqued and the serpent casually makes his way inside, humming with interest and bouncing on his heels a bit as he looked through everything. âAbsolutely beautiful,â the words are given warmly and he canât help but to think about how well theyâd probably hold up even if they were among ruins. Mixed hues turn up and a sharp toothed smile is given when they land upon the apparent shop-owner. âExcuse me, did you make all of these?âÂ

      The serpent was simply enjoying his time. His eyes on everyone around him, his hands tucked into his pockets with that jovial smile on his face. Humans were such adorable creatures! He hums in his delight but ultimately, finds himself pausing in step when he scents something new on the air. Well, partially new. Half of that scent, that soul structure, was human-- the other half was something he couldnât quite identify yet. Although many mistook deities for being all-knowing creatures, the truth of it was they only were in certain lights. Reeves didnât want to be omnipotent. He wanted to learn, grow, wanted his curiosity to be the forefront of it all. That bright smile had turned into something awed, genuine and simply inspired as he casually shifted to reach out for this new creature.Â
His fingertips donât even stop shy of the maleâs face and he stares at him like heâs seen the brightest celestial wonder known to any world. âWhat a beautiful person,â he spoke sweetly before that bright and toothy smile turned his lips again. What a wondrous being! Mismatched hues are mirrored in a way, perhaps not in the same shades but certainly in the same basic colours and he canât help but to find that strikingly beautiful. Heâd only seen humans with partial heterochromia or in their basic colours. How curious! His hand returns to his pocket finally and he hums, enthralled by this encounter already. âSuch a divinity, Iâm certain you must have a heart stopping smile to boot as well. Absolutely wonderful.âÂ

       Itâd only been a few days since he arrived here and still, he found himself bewildered and amazed by the complexity that existed here. Humans werenât just humans anymore, some looked morphed with other elements, a majority could do things he wouldnât expect-- his fascination compelled the serpent to investigate more and it seemed these things were called âquirksâ and they mysteriously began appearing some time ago. Reeves was elated, this mysterious find was absolutely marvelous and he wanted to know all there was! However, it seemed infighting was still prominent among the human species and he wondered how they fared in this world with such abilities at their disposal. It seemed heâd gotten his answer a bit sooner than he wouldâve liked when he himself was caught in the crossfire of some kind of conflict.Â
A bystander is what theyâd call him, he thinks, or a civilian; but it didnât matter. The serpent didnât have any outward reaction to any of it, simply observing silently where he stood to take in what was going on. He would be fine, after all. So it didnât matter to him much-- but when he felt a fairly hot hand on his shoulder to pull him back, a squeak left the small deity and he turned mismatched hues to the one who pulled him out of the apparent line of fire. Duality. Thatâs his first thought when he sees this one. Though it becomes clear heâs at a disadvantage while heâs trying to protect civilians. Perhaps he should step in and minimize the damage caused? He says nothing, simply reaching up and gently patting the maleâs hand on his shoulder before removing it while he turned his gaze to the one causing all the fuss, that analytic and disapproving gaze twisting his usually jovial expression.Â
Trying to comprehend what happened next would be difficult for anyone, because before anyone could make sense of his existence being there-- the deity had the troublemaker on his front and pinned down beneath his small body. Heâd transported himself where heâd last walked and sunk his fangs into the manâs shoulder to paralyze him, all in the span of seconds, to neutralize the threat at hand. His knee across arms folded back, the crater beneath the two a bewildering effect since it did not appear that Reeves would weigh much at all or have that much force in his tiny body-- but really, he simply adjusted his weight to feel as if he were the one of his natural body size as a serpent.Â
âMy apologies, it seems my size mightâve influenced you to think me helpless. I assure you though, I am anything but helpless. I do loathe conflict though, so youâll be going with these lovely looking people and youâll behave, wonât you?â Thereâs hardly even a threat in his tone, but when he gets up thereâs no struggle at all. He simply dusts himself off and adjusts his coat before closing the gap between himself and the one whoâd been doing his best to protect the civilians in the area. A complete one eighty, his jovial smile was back as dual hues looked up at the other, âI apologize to you as well, its clear my standing there and observing put you at risk. Thank you for pulling me out of harms way.âÂ

@automatousmarionette | Reeves ;;Â
      It had been his intention to go about exploring this city but truth be told, Reeves really did not like the cold. Los Angeles should be banned. It should never be this cold. The serpent sighed and then sighed again when he saw his breath, hardly paying any mind to where he was going but when he scented something odd on his tongue he found himself stopping in his tracks. Metal? He briefly glanced around, it wasnât abnormal to scent an ore in a city but at such close proximity as though he had his tongue to a light post? That was odd. He found himself looking about, mixed hues searching for the source before he settled his gaze upon a woman almost a foot taller than himself. Was she the source of it? Without much thought he got closer and closer to her and idly scented the air near her before straightening up and flicking his hand to get her attention.Â
Shouting out in excitement of this oddity would grab attention and he wasnât sure if that would be a safe thing. Humans tended to react in various ways to strange things and he was always mindful of the area he was in. Even if he was quiet about it that wouldnât stop his million mile an hour tangent of curiosity though. âExcuse me, why do you scent like ore? Itâs quite peculiar and enticing! Your hair is rather pretty, is it natural? Your eyes are cute too! What are those adorable lines on your face though? Are they markings?âÂ
@warwcn { Zathrel } | Plotted ;;Â
      Its so.. Odd around here. The scents were different, the nature wasnât the same but heâd gone about taking this path because heâd been curious. He wanted to see what else was out there, what else he was capable of concerning his own travel capabilities. Thereâs a hum in his throat, something akin to a song because he was so delighted by all the differences. Truly, the serpent was enthralled with everything and more than eager to discover more and more. He didnât quite mind how out of place he seemed, he was out of place everywhere he went, but he wasnât entirely oblivious to the dangers of traveling without caution when it came to unexplored territory. However, that caution came to an absolute standstill when he settled his mixed oculars on another bi-pedal creature. Peeking around the trees, he was awed near immediately. Pointed ears, markings upon his face, clearly without the scent of a human yet familiar to those heâd spent his time looking after.Â
His curiosity of course got the better of him and he shifted, taking a few steps slowly before he decisively said âscrew itâ and almost tripped over himself in his elation. Stopping short of almost pile driving the man, he looked up with a warm yet awed smile and an enthusiastic wave of his hand,âHello!â Bright smiled, bright eyed, Reeves was over joyed at the moment and more than ready to give the other a greeting to match it. âWhat are you? You donât smell like a human, nor do you scent like a deity? You look rather adorable, do you like flowers? What about those markings?â Alright, maybe his excitement was a bit much but how could he not be this excited? A completely new person! A new person who looked rather interesting! He was quite small in comparison but thatâs how it always was with him, even still he didnât mind looking up a bit. âWhatâs your name? Mineâs Alexandre Reeves-- Youâre ears are cute, I like them!âÂ
Did he even know the meaning of a cohesive conversation? Sure. Did that mean it would stop his rapid fire questions and adoring nature? Not likely.Â
