I love Kyoko as a character so much and I wish the fandom didn’t only ever portray her as the surface level character we see.

She’s a ‘cold, stoic, emotionless’ detective but she’s,,,really not any of that

She’s not cold, there’s a reason she helps Makoto after the first trial, there’s a reason she saves him from Junko and saves him again in chapter 5 and it’s because she cares (yes she does mess up other times, but she still saves him)

She’s upset with him in chapter 3 because she does have emotions, and her emotions are so clear here, she’s genuinely hurt that he’s hiding something from her.

Shes also fascinated by things that have nothing to do with her detective work, I see her usually portrayed as hating anything that isn’t detective work but it’s actually the opposite!! There’s two school modes that show she’s interested in other hobbies (her agreeing to do karaoke with Makoto and her wanting Makoto to show her new things)

Also she’s,,kind of a repressed dork deep down, she teases Makoto and makes jokes, I don’t have much proof here but deep down she’s kind of a goofy dork and I wish that was explored more bc I love it about her.

I wish the fandom didn’t dull down everything about her just to portray her as a ‘cold, uncaring, girl boss’ when she’s really the complete opposite.

Justin and I made a huge step forward today! We found an amazing 1br apartment right downtown!! It has 18 foot ceilings, 3 massive windows with lake views, an exposed brick wall, a dishwasher, central air, a bathroom IN the bedroom, and a closet so big you could put another bed in there. There’s an elevator! And the manager is so amazing.

I have always wanted to live downtown.. always wanted the exposed brick. The vaulted ceilings. Justin loves the kitchen, dishwasher, central air and windows. It’s amazing for us.

Ik ik it’s a very random (and obvious) detail but something about it very cute especially if you observe the differences between the kisses

Like that first one Amity just does it, she looks so shocked by it just like Luz does but in that second one you can tell how comfortable they are with their relationship now because Amity immediately kisses her with no hesitation and Luz returns that affection immediately even when her focus is on the others. Also in that first gif, the kiss is quick and after Amity realizes she’s kissed Luz, she puts space between them. In the second one, she kisses Luz’s cheek for a few seconds before pulling away, and even after pulling away she stays close to Luz.

But I don’t think that means her development was thrown away, I mean she was at the twins birthday party and got them gifts that they enjoyed, she wouldn’t of been invited if she hadn’t changed.

Changing and being better isn’t a linear thing, you aren’t going to wake up the next day immediately a new changed person, you’ll fall back and make mistakes, repeat old habits and patterns but that doesn’t mean all that change was for nothing, it just means you still have room to grow and I think that’s the same for Pacifica. She’s not immediately going to become better, it’ll take time especially since she’s still with her parents, I can’t imagine it’ll be easy for her to break away quickly.

Not to mention, it was the literal apocalypse and she was in a shack surrounded by people she barely knew and had just witnessed her father having his face disfigured, truthfully I can’t fully blame her for falling back into a old habit, possibly out of fear or something.

Amity: Hunter oh my titan, Luz held my hand

Hunter: okay?? And??

Amity: She held my hand

Hunter: you guys hold hands constantly I don’t see the big deal

Luz: *sighs* Amity laughed yesterday and it was the most beautiful sound I’ve ever been blessed with,,do you think she’ll kiss me if I ask

Willow: you two have been DATING for FOUR YEARS

Like,,knowing how big that is for her,,knowing that her gloves are a huge source of her trust and what they symbolize

The fact that she says “the only people I could ever take my gloves off for are my family”

The fact that in DR3 she takes off her gloves just to hold his hand while telling him to not give up, the fact that she now trusts him and loves him that much?
