I love Kyoko as a character so much and I wish the fandom didnāt only ever portray her as the surface level character we see.
Sheās a ācold, stoic, emotionlessā detective but sheās,,,really not any of that
Sheās not cold, thereās a reason she helps Makoto after the first trial, thereās a reason she saves him from Junko and saves him again in chapter 5 and itās because she cares (yes she does mess up other times, but she still saves him)
Sheās upset with him in chapter 3 because she does have emotions, and her emotions are so clear here, sheās genuinely hurt that heās hiding something from her.
Shes also fascinated by things that have nothing to do with her detective work, I see her usually portrayed as hating anything that isnāt detective work but itās actually the opposite!! Thereās two school modes that show sheās interested in other hobbies (her agreeing to do karaoke with Makoto and her wanting Makoto to show her new things)
Also sheās,,kind of a repressed dork deep down, she teases Makoto and makes jokes, I donāt have much proof here but deep down sheās kind of a goofy dork and I wish that was explored more bc I love it about her.
I wish the fandom didnāt dull down everything about her just to portray her as a ācold, uncaring, girl bossā when sheās really the complete opposite.
I love Kyoko Kirigiri so much sheās so interesting and she deserves the entire world.
