The series, which premiered on iview last night, features an extremely talented (80% Indigenous) cast and the amazing special effects, costuming and prop work of Weta Workshop (of Lord of the Rings, Mad Max: Fury Road,Avatar et cetera fame). As for the story itself, Griffen says "It's been almost seven years" in the making and he traces its inception back to an afternoon playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with his son. "We both love our superheroes and for me it was trying to find a way to bleed culture into that; to get him to connect to his culture and own it, and be empowered. So, from that day on I wanted to create an Indigenous superhero for him."

“We know that cross breeding has an effect on the dingo gene pool but what we didn’t know until now is whether cross breeding changes the dingo skull,” said study lead author Dr William Parr, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UNSW Medicine’s Surgical and Orthopaedic Research Laboratory.
