Short story of Tracer coming home to her S/O after being away on a mission for a couple months? The fluffier the better. Thanks in advance!
You got it! I had a lot of fun writing this. Everyone send me in more fluff! I love this stuff ^^
It had been months since you lastsaw Lena. She had been sent out on a rather long mission to both gather informationon Talon and to decrease criminal activity in the city she was stationed. Youknew she loved being able to help out, but that didn’t keep you from missingher terribly. She was supposed to come home soon, but you weren’t given a day.
Three months and fourteen days.
You worried about her being gone solong, thinking in worse case scenarios—even though you weren’t given anyindication to fret. You couldn’t help it. She truly was your everything. Whatkept you going. A soft sigh passed your lips as you lounged on you back into aplush couch, arm tucked behind your head. Eyes casted over to the television onin the common room, lazily paying attention to some news channel. Your earsperked as you heard the name of the city your girlfriend was stationed in.
“—and following the recent, anddrastic, decline in criminal activity by over 72%, the city is now able tostart repairs in hopes of restoring it back to its former glory. The Mayor hasplanned to increase jobs on town maintenance and protection by 14% to maintainthis level of harmony for years to come. I am here with some local residents toget their opinion on the changes happening in the city. How do—“
You stopped paying attention to what was beingsaid, smiling softly as you saw a very faint streak of light in the background. You felt your chest swell with pride, a grin passing over your lips, “That’s mygirl,” You say, nestling yourself further into the soft couch as your eyesdrifted shut. Surly a small nap wouldn’t hurt. No sooner had the thought passedyour mind before you had the air forced out of your relaxed body.
“Who’s your girl?” You hear arather cheerful, curious, and very familiar voice.
Your eyes opened immediately, meeting the goggle-less eyes of your love as she lay on top of you. Withinseconds, you had your arms around her waist as you sat up. You hugged ontightly as she straddled your lap, eagerly returning the embrace, “God I’vemissed you. When did you land?” You manage to say as your face was buried inher neck.
An enchanting laugh passed her lipsas she drew patterns on your back, “I just got back, Love! Not even 5 minutesago. I needed to find you first,” she said as she pushes you away slightly onlyto cup your cheeks and kiss your forehead before the tip of your nose. Shepresses her forehead to yours, a glee filled smile never leaving those beautifullips, “I’ve missed you too, so much. I should have called more,” she says, sounding apologetic.
“You were busy, no need to soundlike that,” you say, reaching up with your right hand to touch her cheek, thumblightly stroking her cheek. Your smile widened slightly as she leaned into yourtouch. You held the position before dragging your fingers along her jaw line, lightly taking her chin between the side of your index finger and thumb. Yourheart jumped ever so slightly as there was a light dusting of pink on hercheeks. You took in the sight for a brief moment before capturing her lips withyours, missing the feeling. Of course, the action was immediately returned.
Relishing in the kiss that you had missedfor months, you broke away from her after a few seconds. You peppered her lipssoftly with three or four kisses before kissing on her cheeks. A bubbly gigglecame from her as you covered her with affection. You ended the assault ofkisses, pulling back as you brushed some hair from her face, “You hungry?” Yousaid as your hands trailed down her arms before lacing your fingers with hers.
