when the planes reaches altitude, a line in motion, it’s clear to distinguish the different regions on the water, their colors, the ships appear there alone, or in groups of five, or six, when the image of the water is so diffuse that they look like zeppelins plotting beneath us.

Alejandro Jorge was born in Lobos, Argentina, in 1981.  He studied philosophy, film and French.  He works in the periodicals library of the Alianza Francesa de Buenos Aires, and, with Laureano della Schiava, directs the independent press Triana.  He published the book of poems Especificaciones.
