Andra and Alecto had been at Twilfitt and Tattings for far too long, she knew that, but she still hadnât found the perfect dress and she was determined, even if it meant that she needed to look through every single piece of clothing in the entire shop. She turned to look over at Alecto. âThanks for coming with me,â she said. After seeing Sebastien the other day with one of his clients, she wanted desperately to find the perfect dress that would, well, make him jealous. It was completely ludicrous, Andra was very much aware of the fact, but when it came to Bastien she didnât tend to think straight. She had promised to invite him and Mira to her housewarming party when she was finished with the renovations, and they were finally nearly done, so she was running out of time. If she needed to import a dress from Paris than she wanted to know ahead of time so she could go there for a fitting if need be.Â
Glancing at Alecto again, she saw the look on her face and sighed. âIâm sorry. I know that Iâm being....thorough. But I just need to find something perfect, you know? If you want to go you can but I did promise that I would buy drinks and lunch afterwards so...â she trailed off with a smirk and a shrug. If Alecto decided to leave now, well she wouldnât blame her. But she hoped that the promise of lunch and drinks would keep her there at least for a little bit longer. Andra realized a moment later that Alecto might see the offer as degrading considering her familyâs current situation, and Andra typically wouldnât care about something like that, but she was empathetic to the Carrowâs plight. She knew what it was like when your life turned completely upside down. âYou deserve it after staying with me all this time.â
