.  .  .  i  don’t  think  this  counts,  but  stop  telling  people  that  rp  is  just  a  hobby  and  it’s  not  actually  all  that  important  in  the  grand  scheme  of  things.  i  know  for  me,  personally,  rp  is  kind  of  the  only  thing  i  have  and  it’s  been  that  way  for  years.  yes,  i’ve  worked.  yes,  i’ve  gone  out  and  done  real  life  things.  but  rp  got  me  through  my  final  year  of  high  school.  rp  got  me  through  what  i  now  realise  could  have  been  depression.  rp  got  me  through  my  car  accident  and  my  step-father’s  death.  rp  kept  me  socially  active  during  almost  the  entirety  of  this  year.  yes,  to  a  lot  of  people  rp  is  just  a  hobby  but  to  some  people  it’s  actually  really  important  to  them,  and  saying  that  is  demeaning  and  shameful  and  it  feels  fucking  awful  to  see  that  expressed  in  the  community.
