He asks her out on a whim, because he’s bored, because he’s annoyed with her, because he thinks it will fluster her. They’ve been dancing around something like flirting for months, now, and even though most of the time he’s pretty sure he can’t stand her (and the feeling is probably mutual), sometimes she looks at him and it’s the same look Blue used to give him before she got past his hips and he couldn’t be in the paddock with the girls anymore.

This is a category 4 hurricane at least. Maybe if he hadn’t gotten offended by her itinerary it would have been something more along the lines of a tropical depression. Maybe if she hadn’t called him an ill-mannered slob he might not have pushed it from a disturbance to a storm.

Status: Complete (oneshot)

Plot: After years upon years of protecting the young princess, heir to her mothers throne, Sir Lancelot has seen a lot of things. Annoying suitors, dashing pirates, and witches seeking revenge. No matter what, the knight faced them all with bravery, strength, and the dedication to his kingdom. However, if there is one thing Lancelot is certain about, it's that he's getting too old for this.

Overview: This story is precious. Beyond precious. Precious to the max. Taking place in the Enchanted Forest, Regina's curse never hit leading to Emma growing up the way she was meant to . . . that is until years later she is stolen away from her Kingdom and placed high up in a tower. Only then does a handsome pirate find her (on mistake, I shall add) and two years later, she returns. Stronger, smarter, and head over heels in love with said pirate. 

Now, I will add that none of that is actually written down. The story takes place after Emma returns and is in the third-person point of view of the knights who are hired to protector her and how the only person who seems to get in their way is the pirate who rescued her. 

Things I liked: Killian and Emma are in love. Even if you only see glances of them or are taking the perspective of those around them, it's very easy to see how blissfully happy they are. All problems came and went, and now all they have is each other. I also love the idea of looking through another persons eyes, and seeing what lengths Killian will go to just to spend an evening with the woman he loves. 

What I disliked: Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Nothing thing I can argue about is that it's not long enough. 

Final words: The story itself is apart of the Discovery series the author has made, which are full of adorable stories that you should definitely check out. Lots of flirting and fun. No sexual contact, but honest, it isn't needed. Just by the way Emma and Killian look to one another, you can tell how much they want each other. Pure fluffy fun and if that is what you're into, then check this our for sure.

It’s nice, to be able to settle back and think on Before, without letting the absolute despair of After drag them under. Not that his Before had been a fairytale. No one mentions the fact that Daryl never joins them for their “I miss” games. It’s a sad testament to his own life that these are some of his best memories.
