Movies and video games have that escapism to them, which is great but also, I just wonder what that moment must be like and if I'll ever get to feel it.

But I'm just gonna take it easy and hope for cool Steven Universe gifts tonight when I get home!!

I've been reflecting on my new Tumblr adventure and I guess I'm just really happy to be welcomed by so much positivity. I've had this blog for only a couple of months now and I was apprehensive at first, I know there can be a lot of negativity and arguing between members of the fandom and I am fairly shy when approaching new people. I fear that people may not be nice back or I judge myself harshly on whatever I create. But my time here so far has been overwhelmingly positive! I've gained a small but steady following (who are much loved!) I've made some fantastic new friends and everyone I've talked to has been welcoming and encouraging. I haven't drawn or written so much in a really long time and I have being part of the SU fandom to thank for it! I will probably delete this soppy post later but it's just been a great experience for me to recognise all the good there is to be found in this fandom and to feel like a part of it.
