Teresa had it with James turning off his phone so she won’t be able to reach him. It was around 8 PM, she just left work, and while Audrey texted her that she’s home and doing alright, the boy didn’t get the message and didn’t answer her calls, as the line was disconnected. The woman was a little worried but mostly pissed, as this wasn’t a new habit of the kid and decided to look for him. Driving towards his best friend’s house (or more accurately, trailer), she stopped near the place and made her way to the door. James and Chandler are best friends and mostly hung around each other’s houses, it was more than likely her son will be there. She knocked the door, “Hola, it’s Teresa, James’s mother.” She exclaimed in her loud Spanish accent, sighing. It wasn’t too long before the door was opened, however the person who opened it took her by surprise. “I know you, Alan Pratt.” She raised her eyebrow suspiciously; it was her douche bag of an ex, Alan. He wasn’t supportive of her professional choices and made it clear in his own obnoxious way, and the worst thing is that he was right all along. “Glad to see you own a house now, that’s an upgrade.” She rolled her eyes. “You’re Chandler’s father?”
