it had been a few days since he arrived back in california, a few days since he had released his public service announcement officially breaking ties with his family professionally and embarking on his journey of reinventing himself. truth was, being the bad guy got him nowhere. he wasn’t a kid anymore where people found it cute or funny or charming, he was a few years away from thirty and if he ever wanted to be anyone worth remembering, it was time for him to change. and that started with making amends for the things he had done. he had been driving down rodeo drive when he spotted a familiar blonde with a plethora of shopping bags on her arms. and out of everyone he had to apologize to, she probably deserved the biggest one. pulling up next to her on the sidewalk, he rolled his window down, pushing his sunglasses up to the top of his head as he looked over at her. “need a ride?”
