Maybe it was a distraction. Or maybe Wren had finally decided to get his hands dirty. No matter the reason, it had brought the two of them here. To some secluded area in Wren’s truck, hefting a couple of bodies out of the trunk and onto the cold ground beneath their feet. Glancing up at Ace where he stood, a look passed between the two of them as Wren motioned down at the first of the bodies. “So pick your poison. Bonfire, burial, something more creative? The quicker we get this done, the quicker we can crack open the six pack in the back of my car.”

     The little boutique had recently become Alice’s go to store for cute accessories and outfits, and with the changing season, she was in the mood for revamping her style a bit. She’d just turned the corner and could already see the commotion surrounding it. Curious, she kept going, a little confused by the sheer frantic nature of the people trying to go in.

Looking around, she found one man who clearly did not share in the mirth. Given his expression, she figured he was waiting for someone caught up in whatever was happening inside. His girlfriend, maybe? She didn’t want to add to his brood, but he seemed like the only sane enough person to ask.

A book!

It was a little worn and beat, but Norma figured it was just from love and use. Being the ever so curious one, she decided to snoop on through it. Maybe it was going to lead to treasure, or something, just like the movies!

Instead of treasure, she got... A sort of list of random stuff. Drinking lemonade, getting fluffy socks... Was this a bucket list for someone who did not seem to have an exciting life? Or, someone who just had a life so exciting that they just wanted to chill stuff? Meh! This wasn’t going to be worth anything to her at all! Whatever, the person who owned it probably wanted it back...

Oh look, a guy with cats swarming him like he was made outta ‘nip. Maybe he dropped it when he got ruthlessly assaulted with felines? And thus, she approached with the book in hand and a smile on her face. Maybe she’d be rewarded for her kindness!
