the future akira's 'ambition' leads to is one that is without corruption, it's a future where they and their friends can act as a catalyst to meaningful change. the future had been grim and bleak after he was taken into police custody but as joker he seeks to make meaningful change. those he has come close to during that time would be a significant part of that future. for dimitri it would be a future he can protect, as someone who has experienced loss as he had he wants to fiercely protect those that are closest to him. in the future he hopes and aspires for the blue lions are in it, grown and changed but not unrecognizable, as well as the professor he had believed dead.

MAESTRO was quickly learning that the tower didn’t have much to offer him. Sure, it was filled to the brim with state of the art facilities, but in terms of entertainment, Hope’s Peak was decidedly lacking. Unless, of course, you were the type to get your kicks from chatting up your fellow classmates, which MAESTRO was not. That left the outside world (since he’d come to discover that his roommate was a girl and, nope, that wasn’t something he wanted to deal with until he absolutely had to).

He found himself in the city - more specifically, the music store - with a cup of iced coffee he’d snagged from the cafeteria before leaving. At first glance, it seemed almost counterintuitive to head to a music store for some peace and quiet, but most people had the common sense not to bother someone with headphones on. As MAESTRO slid the headphones over his ears in order to sample whichever album was on offer, he caught a glimpse of a purple rabbit out of the corner of his eye.

Of course one of his classmates would show up not long after he did. That was how bad luck operated, after all, and MAESTRO seemed to be on a losing streak as of late.
