     “ Oi, did you hear? ”                       “ They’re throwing a festival for us! ”                        “ Huh? Hear what? ”                        “ You sure? You’re all geared up. ”

Halloween is just around the corner, and Rhodes Island knows how to celebrate. Able children in the medical wing are given little costumes. Older operators are planning skits for them, and many are stocking up on candy.

Of course, not everyone can join in. There’s missions to be done, and it had to match with the theme!

Rhodes Island picked up a letter from their branch in Siracusa. There’s tales of missing operators. While not uncommon for Siracusa, they’re all linked to the sleepy village of Kamarina. They’re losing resources, and you’ve been assigned to take care of it.

Was there something else hidden in the village? What is with the thick forest fog? Huh? We can’t leave?

Taking the information learned from the kuranta, he leaves the medics with a silent nod. This is disturbing. It’s not enough to go off of; not to put together the pieces of what’s going on with this village. Keeping his blade close to his side, the Guard moves out to regroup with some of the others. This needs to be shared -- who knows what other information could be shared.

Lappland wiped off the sweat off of her face, she’s taking quick deep breathes, and forming balls with her hands. She’s pissed. Oh, she’s filled to the brim with Anger. If she could, she would cut a thing down right now, but she won’t. She’s been doing good so far. 

The ex-mafia at her limit? what a funny pathetic. Joke.

       “Don’t leave the village night or alone is just basic risk prevention honestly. Predators' that hunt at night are not a new concept. Though from how these villagers behave, it’s more than just simple beasts lurking in the forest. Tenzin, fly above the forest and bring me back anything noteworthy you can find.”

The Bounty Hunter solemnly looks out from where she stands, her red eyes peak from under her hat as she notices the thickness of the fog finally settle down compared to the nighttime. It’s not good, something clearly happened with the group that went out and it’s not making her feel calmer. If something happened to the Doctor, she doesn’t think breaking a house or two around here would be a problem. 

Doctor... They welcomed her, a monster into their team. They stayed despite how everyone avoided her. They even saved Spectre. They were there during the fight and they were there when no one else was.

The operator stands in the forest, sunlight filtering through the leaves as he looks around.  Sharp gaze stays trained in front of him as he walks through it.  There’s nothing extraordinary to be seen and perhaps he should take the plunge and leave at night in hopes something would happen.  Even without Tenzin with him, he’s able to hunt very well.  

He stops in his tracks as he hears footsteps to the side of him.  His cane taps the ground once as he turns his head. 

❝Have you found anything interesting?❞  

One would have to be stupid to not notice something strange was going on.   

A soft gentle hums comes from the lupo. She’s not exploring (yet), but she’s checking out her options, before she chooses. Her fingers tap on her cheeks, as she walks to give herself a very grief (like 1 minute) look over, knowing that she has limited time, and kinda being a lone wolf right now. 

Which, of course, isn’t ideal.

Lappland takes a deep breathe to take in air to clear her mind, controlling herself, & to be mindful of her surroundings.
