Okay okay okay so my s/i is a hashira! She trains with Muichiro to be his successor someday - at first she felt awkward being older than him yet also being his student, but she got used to it!

Now !!! She 'met' Akaza while investing a brutal demon attack in a town :'3 she was shocked to see the women left alive too lol! They did fight, but she took notice that he hardly even hit her, mostly blocked her attacks. During the fight he kept asking her to become a demon. "You would be so much stronger if you became a demon! Let's fight together!" Obviously she refused lol!

The fight had ended in a draw, and she held some weird, sort of confused respect for him and his morals against harming, killing, or eating women.

HOWEVER !!! Any sort of neutral or positive feeling she had about him was completely gone when she heard about the Mugen Train incident (｡◞︿◟｡) she looked up to Rengoku like an older brother.

She met him a lot after that, actually, they'd fight (she'd fight and he'd block and dodge lol), she threatened to kill him (and tried to go through with it) soo many times. Too many to count, buuuut slowly the fights turned into some weird form of a friendly spar. It always ended after he asked her to become a demon again ^^;

They ended up on "friendly" terms by the time everyone was dropped into the infinity castle. This was where they're friendship or sorts was exposed. She was with Tanjiro and Giyuu when they ran into Akaza.

She didn't join the fight. She followed, and watched, and winced every time anyone got hit, whether it was Akaza, Giyuu, or Tanjiro.

It was only when he was giving up, remembering his human life, that she ran forward, trying to pull him back, begging him to heal himself, not to give up. She promised she'd become a demon with him if he just listened and came back.

Obviously, her begging didn't work. She ends up like all the other hashira, too (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈) trying to protect Muichiro against Kokushibo.

Now, on my modern au ideas !! This post is already getting long so I'll just list out possible dynamics !!!

We all know that I like to have my s/i's do the things I used to do and love but can't do anymore, so this is where boxing comes in :3c i did boxing for nearly a year when I was 14 with my old neighor! He was in competitions which I thought (and still think) was so cool. He offered to teach me some and obviously i said hell yeah lmao !!!

My first idea was biker Akaza x Boxer Grey but then I got thinking. Hockey player Akaza x boxer Grey, hockey player Akaza x figure skater Grey (they fight over the rink for practice), biker Akaza x photographer Grey (i just loove doing photography sm), and also drummer Akaza x guitar player Grey (from rival bands)

Overall if you couldn't tell, Akazrey is very much rivals -> friends -> lovers -> doomed romance in some way !!!
