Yeah agreed. That and the likely rude messages she gets too, people know she can see who sends those right....she gets a lot of messages and probably reads all of them even if she doesn't answer, that should be good enough but people have to go and be rude anyway :/

well the fact that i didn’t know this was happening yet i am not at all even mildly surprised is, in my opinion, pretty telling on its own...babymetal fans get angry over literally anything and everything under the sun. just for fun, let’s look at some of the other nonsense people have been up in arms about just in recent memory:

a thai rapper featuring in a song

the girls taking pictures with artists who aren’t metal

the girls or their backups talking about pop artists they like

the costume changes ie new dresses, hair, makeup

not being told specifics about yui

backup dancers not fitting some absurd ideal image

and that’s just what i can think of off the top of my head. people in this fandom are going to continue being pathetic i guess is the take away; this is why we’ve ended up with their look going back to the same old thing, people in this fandom hate change and are so obnoxiously loud about it
