For example, for 'Day 1' you draw your favorite character (same as when you first read/watched!) holding an apple (like the Twilight cover??) and post when your clock says it's 12:01 am July 23. Then for Day 2, you write two drabbles, one about your favorite Ajin ship when you first read/watched the series, and a second about your favorite ship now, and post on the evening of July 26. Etc. etc., there's no wrong way to participate! The event is being held both and tumblr and twitter (and Instagram if we get really motivated). Twitter is @ajinsanta and Instagram is @ajinsecretsanta (yes, the accounts there get used for both ajinweek and ajin secret santa).

The three prompt tracks this year are SFX (sound effects), fruit, and retro (themes related to looking back)

July 23-24 ('Day 1') prompts: SFX: Juwajuwa じゅわじゅわ (black matter) Fruit: Apple Retro: Favorite Character, before and now

July 25-26 ('Day 2') prompts: SFX: Dokidoki/Doku ドキドキ・ドクン (heartbeat) Fruit: Orange Retro: Favorite relationship, before and now

July 27-28 ('Day 3') prompts: SFX: Shin しん (silence) Fruit: Peach Retro: Nostalgia

July 29-30 ('Day 4') prompts: SFX: Pan/Baki/Pushu パン・バキ・プシュ (gunshot) Fruit: Watermelon Retro: Retro technology

July 31-Aug 1 ('Day 5') prompts: SFX: Haa haa はあはあ (panting) Fruit: Lemon Retro: 'A long time ago'

Aug 2-3 ('Day 6') prompts: SFX: Do do do ドドド (stomp/vroom) Fruit: Cherry Retro: an AU (alternate universe) or crossover with one of your old fandoms

Aug 4-5 ('Day 7') prompts: SFX: Any SFX 自由 Fruit: Fruits Basket (any/all fruits) Retro: Redraw/rewrite one of your previous Ajin fanworks
