Mixtape to Demo
So now the mixtape has been out for a week. Getting to do tracks with Art Cricklow, Terrance Harley, Kyle Kriner, Cj Thoms, Leon Smith, Alexa Simone, Leticia Nelson and my kid brother Christian Johnson was so much fun. And the mixtape turned out pretty damn good. Nothing but positive feedback from everyone who's heard it so far. Funny, I was worried I'd get slammed for being so truculent lol.
But now the hardest part. I've build up enough confidence to look for some sort of recording deal. I've taken 4 songs from the mixtape to use as a demo and I'm gonna shop it around. Hopefully we see something good come out of that. (Would like to give my parents good news when they get back from vacation, you know. haha)
So now I'm gonna embark on the quest, peeps! Here's hoping
