☭ | Not Accepting

  Regarding the purple-haired woman beside her in silence, Sorano couldn’t help but agree. She had earned her title as an outcast, and wore the label as a badge of honor. She didn’t need anyone, and she never would. 

   Her loneliness was covered by independence, and filled with self-sufficiency.  No matter what the situation, she knew that she would only have herself to rely on. It was the way of the world, and something she had more than accepted. 

 Even so, with her reaffirming thoughts, Sorano still felt a tinge of connection with the words spoken.

-☠-Tears wasn't something he really did. Nope, sorry, not really for him. For one thing, it was the clearest sign of weakness you could give. For another, it didn’t feel good. If he needed a way to deal with his emotions he’d punch Jellal. 

Still, sometimes it was tempting when he thought of those big green eyes. It was always the green eyes, wasn’t it? Cubellious. His first friend. The friend who’d he’d lost. He’d met her again, but it was little consolation. Because she didn’t remember him. 

Also, she was human. There was that to consider as well. 

She was a human girl now, with no memories of him, living happily with Fairy Tail. When he’d heard, he firmly decided to let her go. She didn’t even know him anymore, it wouldn’t be hard. 

(That’s why when he ran into her in town, he was not expecting the lump to form in his throat. )

He staggered back, cursing the others for making him run this errand. She was staring at him with those big green eyes, and he could see so clearly now that she was still his friend he’d known most of his life.
