 CBSE students must score at least 33% marks to pass.

Important Rules

Minimum 33% marks in each subject

Separate passing required in theory and practical exams

Students failing in one subject may get compartment opportunity

For subjects with practicals:

Theory passing marks: around 27 out of 80

Practical/Internal passing marks: around 7 out of 20

A student misses passing marks by 1–2 marks

Question paper is difficult or lengthy
