chest ➜ place your head on my muse’s chest.
all is quiet in the burrow, almost too quiet for molly’s own good when she returns home. there’s this kind of silence hanging in the air that she’s not used to, especially when one of her rowdiest son of a troublemaker is present. yet, she finds herself oddly amused when she stands walks into the living room to a sight that brings a smile to her face.
there lies her son on the sofa... cuddled together with you. in a spot seemingly small for two, fred makes do with his arms around you and legs tangled with yours. molly tilts her head, taking in the imagery of your cheek pressed to fred’s chest, hands kittenishly between your bodies; both pair of eyes fluttered shut as small puffs of air goes in and out.
granted, molly didn’t expect to come home to peace and quiet but here it is unfolded right before her eyes... or rather folded pretty neatly in a form of two bodies moulded into one in the living room.
soundlessly, she pads away to the kitchen to leave the two of you be.
if she hadn’t imagined it, she could’ve sworn that the two of you were smiling even in your sleep. that thought alone keeps molly in high spirits for the rest of the day.
