Helena walked into Aiden's room, flopping onto his bed, on top of his legs. "Wake up," she muttered into the mattress, clearly half asleep herself.

She didn’t think that he would actually do that, but he had and she was left completely baffled. Dolly’s face flushed a dark red from ear to ear once Aiden had pulled back. “That’s not ah fair!”
Sleep was never easy for Helena and tonight was no different. She had tried everything from sitting on the cold roof to gaze at the stars to sharpening her blades, hoping it would make her tired or relaxed enough to sleep peacefully. And yet nothing worked, the nightmares still came. The one that had jolted her awake was especially brutal. It was so vivid she could practically smell the blood and feel the pain within the nightmare. Helena whimpered in fear as she curled up into a tight ball. She hadn't realised that she had woken up screaming. Her scream apparently woke someone up from his own slumber.
