Headcanon: “The Height of Trouble”

“Keep looking at me like that, soldier, and I might just climb you like a ladder.”

• Aguni is stoic, quiet, and intense, which is exactly why you love pushing his buttons. Being short never stopped you—if anything, you use it as ammo.

• You're always flirting—especially at the worst (or best) times. While he’s sharpening a weapon?

“You always that good with your hands, or is it just for me?”

After a fight, covered in blood?

“Bet you’d look even hotter pinning me to a wall instead of the enemy.”

• Aguni tries to act annoyed, growling low in his throat, jaw tight, but his ears go red every single time. He never says it, but he secretly loves how bold you are.

• You make him feel alive. You love climbing into his space. Literally. He’s all broad shoulders and height, so you’ll tug his shirt and go,

“Come closer. I got something to say to that handsome face.”

When he leans down—thinking it’s serious—you steal a kiss and run, but in the end, he always catches you.

• The others tease him constantly.

“You sure that little cutie’s not the one in charge, Aguni?”

“He/She flirts more in a day than you’ve smiled in a year.”

• Aguni just scowls… but no one misses the way he unconsciously checks where you are every five minutes.

• When you're injured or vulnerable, that’s when he really shows his feelings. He’ll kneel beside you, cup your face gently, and say low:

“Stop being reckless. I don’t care how short you are—you’ll still leave a hole too big to fill.”

And you, of course, will ruin the moment with a smirk:

“Admit it, you like your partner travel-sized.”

• He groans—lifts you off your feet effortlessly—and shuts you up with a kiss. But if anyone ever mocks your height seriously, Aguni is instantly behind them like a shadow.

“Say it again. I dare you.”

No one does.
