So this is old and out of date but I liked some things about it so I decided to share. This is an older design of an aialv, close relatives of great alver and native to the continent of Alvlend. Her name is Moth and she has some facial scarring due to An Incident.
Their hands and feet don't look like this anymore but the body shape is about right. Aialver are much smaller than their great alv cousins and spend more time moving using their front limbs and tail.

Some sketches from a while ago figuring out aialv anatomy. They are significantly smaller than great alver but are vastly similar in terms of anatomy and senses. Like great alver, males tend to be born with mobile display fangs.
While aialver and great alver are too distantly related to directly interbreed, they are close enough that viable hybrids can be created using biomagical hybridization techniques. Today, hybridization has led to certain populations having a mixed phenotype.
