HYBE is acutely aware of the ongoing situation where private matters and undisclosed information concerning our artists continue to be disseminated online.
Such acts constitute illegal behaviour that gravely infringes upon the artists' personal rights and reputation. We reiterate that those responsible will face civil and criminal liability in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
Specifically, our investigation has confirmed that Mr Kang Soo-ho has posted or disseminated unauthorised private information and personal details concerning our artists.
HYBE prioritises the safety and rights protection of our artists. We solemnly warn that should this behaviour not cease immediately, we will be compelled to take strong measures, including legal action (encompassing criminal complaints and civil claims for damages).
Accordingly, HYBE requests the following:
1. Immediate deletion of all posts containing non-public information and private matters, and cessation of any further dissemination.
2. Submission of a written undertaking to prevent recurrence of such acts in future (response deadline: within 7 days of this notice).
3. Cooperation in submitting relevant accounts and materials for further investigation and evidence gathering, if necessary.
We strongly request respect for the artist's rights and privacy. Should this recommendation be disregarded, we will actively pursue legal remedies to protect our rights.
