for years i've been saying that ahs roanoke is a good season and after rewatching it im happy to confirm once again that yes, it is a good season

eva braun is gonna be a character in ahs 13?? literally what are we doing

im trying not to judge yet because we don't even know the name of s13 but the main problem with bringing back the witches is that we already did that in apocalypse. although i have my issues with that season, it made sense to have them during the end of the world which even back then proved to be an equally good and bad creative decision because the biggest complaint about apocalypse was that they eventually overtook the narrative. furthermore, bringing back all these iconic actors only to have them play the same characters kinda defeats the purpose of ahs imo. the beauty of ahs is seeing the same actors play different roles in each season after all. not saying i won't lose my mind when i see jessica lange as constance or angel bassett as marie laveau, i just think it's a bit of a wasted opportunity. although tbh judging by the writing of the last 2 seasons, maybe it's for the best? because i've come to question whether they can even create good characters anymore or not. also i have to admit that this reunion feels like a final season to me even tho it's not presented as such. not saying it is necessarily but i wouldn't be surprised if it's testing the waters
