@ebresos (BECAUSE WE HAD TO RESPOND)
He was happy to speak about the flowers. It was a welcome respite to the duties to the kingdom. He smiled softly, plucking herbs and flowers, many of them going to be used for an arrangement for the prince behind him. He was a balm on his nerves. Just having him around did so much to soothe him. More than just for their shared romance, having his calm advice and his savvy did much to help him navigate through affairs during the days...
And then there was his warmth, his love and his touch during the night.
It was a life the princess did not know was possible, to be working toward queendom, and to have someone who knew who he was and thought nothing of it, who still wanted him despite everything. "I'm sorry I'm probably rambling aga--"
He turned to see the other on one knee, holding the ring, and his own hands failed him, dropping the basket of flowers. His hands went to his mouth, eyes wide. "Ahri-- Ahri, you...."
Emotions were wild, roiling inside him as he hid his face with his hands. Maybe so he couldn't be seen crying... but all he could was nod, sobbing softly behind his hands. "Yes... yes of course!!"
