ÆDES
We launched a new series of home cloths during Milan Design Week, taking part in a collaboration project with some of our favorite girls in town: Studio Testo and Irene Cuzzaniti.Â
ÆDES, this the name of the project, is an ode to domestic space. The name is Latin for building, living quarters, room, but also for temple. From this mainspring, we reflected on the concept of living as a ritual: we designed three versatile home cloths, meant to be used as drapes, table cloths, tapestries and so on, realized in rare fibers, like nettle yarn and hemp and cotton mixed yarn. Studio Testo designed three sculpture-vases similar to emblematic objects which were decorated by deconstructed and immanent modern freakebanas, by Irene. We exhibited in the super Six Gallery location: all was amazing!
