â iâm not really scared to die. iâm more afraid that no one will miss me when iâm gone. â
â..No one will miss you if you keep pushinâ people away.â
His tone was stern, eyes narrowed as the paladin gazed upon the dragoon, eyebrows furrowed. Not scared to die but afraid that no one will miss him.. Clearly, both these things didnât seem to belong together. Hands then went upon his hips as he tilted his head aside slightly. Did he drink again and decided to start something of the sort? He couldnât tell but it sure felt like it.
âIf you really want people to actually miss you once youâre dead then maybe you should stop beinâ like this- no one wants to pick someone else off the floor and that includes me. Yet I still do it- why? Because I care. But you donât seem to be noticinâ that at all.â
Perhaps, he was being harsh now but if he wasnât, he doubted that the dragoon would understand. He cared for him and what he got in return for that so far? Nothing. Nothing at all. And due to that, it sure felt like Galen didnât give a single damn about him- only about himself instead. Nails soon dug themselves into the fabric of his pants- showing that Syabelth was actually holding himself back from getting physical on the matter. And it did take him a lot of self control to not go ahead and punch the elezen straight in the face.
A sharply exhaled sigh left the white haired hyurâs lips before he turned around, arms folding upon his chest. He couldnât stare at the other anymore- at least, not now. He knew that if he did, itâd only fuel the rising anger that he felt at the very moment. And even if a slap to reality would do Galen some good, Syabelth didnât want to be the one landing the first blow.
â..Sometimes I even wonder if youâre actually my friend or if Iâm just imagining things.â
