Having been joined in Ostia by a soldier of an unknown Ylissean Army some days ago, Hector struggled to figure out what to do about his guest. By now he had come to fully accept Henry's story. It seemed flawless in Hector's eyes. But still, he had no idea where this country of Ylisse was even located. What was he to do?
Knowing that Eliwood might have a better idea, he contacted his old friend and set up an appointment to meet with him in Pherae. With Henry at his side, the two approached the Pheraen Marquess' castle.
"Like I said, this is where an old friend of mine lives... We've been through a lot together, so I think he may be able to give some good input on your situation."

When word of a strange door in the middle of the woods of Ostia came to the castle, it was expected that Hector would be one of the first to check it out. The thought of someone building in the middle of the woods wasn't too unheard of, but to build a gateway and nothing more? It was a little strange to say the least.
Heading off with a few of his men, they investigated the area thoroughly. Yep. It was definitely a door. It didn't seem to go anywhere, and oddly enough, it appeared almost as though it had been there for a while now.
The group decided it was nothing significant, and the majority turned and headed home not long after arrival. They didn't have the tools to tear it down, and it wasn't like it was hurting anything by being there. In fact, Hector found the thought of travelers passing a lonely door to be pretty funny.Â
Hector was the last to follow the rest of the men away from the gate, falling a while behind the rest. Of course he knew his land as well as the back of his hand, and losing track of his group didn't mean much to him.
He hadn't walked far when something caught his ear. It wasn't far off, that's for sure. It almost sounded like... someone was nearby. Hector prepared himself, gripping the handle of his axe tighter as he snuck deeper into the forest.
