maybe i’m bad with emotions because i stopped showing them a long time ago, maybe it’s because when i got emotional and let someone see a piece of me i got hurt, maybe it’s because years of my life i’ve been taught that affection and joy will get you nowhere, maybe it’s because i’ve been told that i should quit being such a baby, grow up and start being rational, maybe it’s because the first person i cared for in my life put me in the hospital more times than i could count at that age, maybe it’s because he actually broke something inside of me, maybe it’s because i didn’t learn how to properly show love since growing up that wasn’t the first priority or maybe it’s because i just don’t know how to deal with all those feelings or maybe it’s because i’m cold and bitter and angry and sad and have a hard time grasping the concept of happiness. maybe i'm just fooling myself.
