Almost a thousand years since they were laid to restā¦and a few years since she had come across this site. Claireāsā¦no, Estherās travels through the Outrealms, then Nohr, and the summon to Askr had left her a bit winded, butā¦nothing could stand up to visiting this spot.

The fields around the burial grounds were serene, wildflowers swaging in the soft breeze, old and worm statue and memorial stone somehow standing after all this time, depicting the first rulers of Valentia at the height of their reign.Ā
And yet it is as if the visitor uplifts the skies, brightens the rays of the sun, and brings the butterflies to dance.
Legends said the King and Queen would bless travelers and grant them a momentās peace, a small share of the peace they now finally had for themselves. Or perhaps it was just hearsay, just the day getting better and brighter.
