I think all the signs are required to be 3d, like the text on information signs needs to be indented or sticking out to accommodate for the animals using echolocation to navigate the world.
That'd still make them unable to see screen displays of course, that's the main reason i don't really see security as a bat (as cute as it is), it'd make their job kinds impossible if they have to look at cameras. Security to me is a strange mix of a bunch of species and even they aren't sure which genes are dominating.
I really like to think of all the biological intricacies that would still cary over when you anthropomorphise animals. It can be a little tough drawing the line between humanoid and animal with characters like these but it makes it fun
