[FMK, except it’s get them randomly assigned as your lab partner for a whole semester, get trapped with them on a broken elevator for ten hours, and they’re your employee trainer for your new job at McDonalds. You HAVE to stay in the elevator, no matter what powers the character has.]

1) Ohh my god(dess). I am like, actively terrified of Her in all of these scenarios tbh. I’d probably pick Her as my lab partner because either a) she will get really into it or be a great partner or b) have no interest in it at all and at least I can just do all the work myself with minimal fallout. I’d be happy with Amenadiel as my boring and kind-hearted trainer or a philosophical elevator discussion buddy, but Lucifer working at McDonald’s just reaches a level of cryptid chaos I can’t process, so he’s in the elevator. Again.

2) Trixie would be the MOST ADORABLE lab partner in the world, and we would kick ASS. Maze is similarly chaotic cryptid in a McDonald’s setting, but I really feel that we would not cope well together in an elevator. Plus, if I’m stuck in an elevator with Eve, we WILL fuck for the entire ten hours and my life WILL be changed for the better afterwards.

3) This one is hard because I think Chloe and Dan would both be equally wonderful lab partners OR trainers. I’m having some feelings about my goofy but hard working lab partner I had in HS who I paired up with sophomore year and then we purposefully stuck together all three remaining years and like, I was a little in love with him but we never talked about it? So I’m gonna project that onto Dan because I get to do what I want, and Chloe can be my McDonald’s work buddy and trainer. 

2. Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to?Oh god I lied on my last post because I actually have eight (8) fic ideas and one of them involves snowed in/huddling for fucking warmth which I honestly cannot believe I’ve never written because like for real, I’ve been obsessed with that trope since I was seven and didn’t even know what fanfic was.

7.Share a snippet from one of your favorite pieces of prose you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.Okay, I took forever to decide this but like

Dan had pictured a kind of equal-opportunity revolving door sort of situation. Like, that Lucifer was sleeping with tons of men, probably, that he might suck a lot of dick or something, and—it was weird, picturing someone as stupid and pompous as Lucifer on his knees, but it was probably happening and how would Dan know.

4: What’s your favorite line of dialogue?Do you ever try to reflect on a fic and realize you don’t remember a single goddamn thing about it? What the fuck did I write. Do they speak any words the entire time? Maybe not! I skimmed erratically and found this:

“We love people how we find them,” Shani says. Her hand is steady and Jeff is so sad. “I’ll always know where you are, baby.”

Which is probably the most on-the-nose thing in the whole fic, and I love it very much despite my intense dislike for being direct about anything.

Eric was tapping.

He probably didn’t realize he was doing it, but he was sitting at Kent’s table and tapping his pen on it over and over and over and Jeff was going to lose his mind. He glanced over every couple seconds, but Eric never looked up from his book.

Jeff cleared his throat. “That’s starting to get annoying,” he said.

“What?” Eric looked up.

“The tapping,” Jeff said. “With your pen. Stop it.”

Eric blinked. “I didn’t realize I was doing anything,” he said. “Sorry about that!” He let out a nervous sort of laugh before ducking his head again, staring at his textbook.

Tipping his head back, Jeff let out a soft sigh. Damnit. He was supposed to be trying to get along with Eric. It was mostly going okay, it was just -- sometimes Eric made Jeff uncomfortable. He hadn’t figure out why, yet, but he didn’t like the flipping in his stomach that came with messy blond hair and sleepy noises. It was distracting and irritating and -- and Jeff didn’t have time for it.

“It’s fine,” he said, “sorry. I think I’m just hungry.”

“You want me to make you something?” Eric asked, because of course he did.

“I’ll get it,” Jeff said.

scorpio: how much research did you have to do for your current wip? what was the weirdest thing you had to google?Oh my god, it’s absurd. I research the most ridiculous things for all my fics and I’m gonna list several of my recent searches for my WIP here, because I can’t choose. I have googled: when Facebook was invented, when Myspace was invented, the difference between oxford and derby shoes, the difference between whiskey and scotch, how many kinds of scotch there are, how much a Range Rover costs, and the band Dvicio (which is excellent and everyone should listen to them).
