Itās past midnight but I had to make a comic about an experience I had earlier today, I couldnāt let film girl into the classroom bc thatās against the rules but the shared brief experience we had seemed special even though we never exchanged any words
Book Redesign:Ā
āAgriscience: Fundamental & Applicationsā
Author : L. Devere Burton & Elmer L. Cooper
The project itself was the final assignment for 2018 class. This book raises the theme of nature and its contents, especially in the two chapters I chose; animals and their habitats. The wildlife is related to something natural, greeny and I tried to applied this to the illustration I chose. With a āsketchyā illustration, the natural pencil strokes made a ālooseā and ācalmā impression. I also added the vintage feel to this book, something old but classy and timeless. You can see from the color palette I chose, like brown, green and a little purple, like an old book from your grandparent's attic.Ā
I really like how this book turned out because the style was clearly not in my comfort zone. But after a lot of assistance, all my hard work pays off beautifully!

Today in agriscience we extracted dna from a strawberry and it was one of the coolest things that I have ever done. You could see the DNA separate from the strawberry mixture we did. In the picture above thatās the DNA.
My agriscience class is litterally filling with more animals by the day I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate them!
We have:
Poison dart frog (name unknown, belongs to a student in the AM class)
60 gallon native fish tank (like 3 small non labeled native fish, possibly rock bass?? was stocked by the AM class which is why I donāt exactly know, also a tiny goby that somehow ended up there and has survived for like a month now)
400 gallon fish tank stocked with hybrid bluegill
My lab rats ā¤ļø kikyo winry magpie And chell
Hedgehog (belongs to AM student) named maveryc
Woody and buzz the rabbits (lops of some kind, idk Iām not a part of the rabbit care team)
Animals coming to the class later this year:
Two ewes who will lamb in the class barn in February
Our meat breeder rabbits, (who will be returning for their second year now) a buck named Henry a doe who I think is named Ellie? And an unnamed new doe
More??
All this accompanied with care of our greenhouse plants (right now poinsettias take up most of the greenhouse, theyāre in full color rn) thereās never not work to do lmao but I really am enjoying this class and felt like sharing

I think that everyone just thinks of me as āgirl with the flowersā now because I leave my ag sci program with new flowers literally every day and Iām always wearing a flower crown
