Every time I criticize a kpop girl group, I get called misogynistic or told that I only like boy groups. That is not true. I like a lot of kpop girl groups. I just hate ageyo. I don't like the girl groups that use a lot of ageyo and tend to make cutesy music. Apink, AOA and so many others.
I hate it when kpop companies do this thing of dressing up grown ass women, to be like children. It just comes off as predatory to me. Then they will have women releasing these cutesy songs as if these women are toddlers. It just rubs me the wrong way and I will never be into it. I truly think the reason why Blackpink and 2NE1 became so big is that YG Entertainment looked to the Western market, when it came to them. They were represented as being fierce and badass, instead of cutesy/submissive.
