(more) the next day we asked her back to work on something, and her counselor and our counselor and a few other girls from her cabin were all there. during a practise we had a girl from our cabin waiting underneath, covered in dirt and scratches, and she would start pounding on the trapdoor or clawing and scratching at it, even sticking her dirty hands through the crack trying to grab us. we pretended to beat her arms back in with our broom. i have never seen someone so scared in my life.

(cont) we also had a trap door in our cabin, so we started making up a weird story about how we wrestle over it and whoever falls in has to stay under there and now alicia lives under our cabin and we scared the shit out of her omg. later that evening, we went over and asked if her counselor had an extra cookie from snack, because we hadn't fed alicia all day, and she flipped out.
funny story? funny story. so while i was at camp we had an extra bunk in our cabin, odd numbers, no big deal. but a girl (who we dislike) came in to do something and asked why we had an extra. we started joking with her, trying to be nice, like 'oh, there you used to be another girl there. her name was alicia. she's gone now' all serious and stuff, and she 100% bought it.
