Remember how Garrett and Coulson were paired up for their part of the Clairvoyant hunt? Garrett was riding shotgun and telling Coulson the story of one of his past exploits - how he was outnumbered and outgunned, so he dropped in through the skylight, used up his mag, and then hit the final guy in the chest with his flare gun.

(Turns out Garrett was exaggerating though, Coulson was there for the whole thing and he says Garrett never dropped in through the skylight. Garrett concedes, saying the story is more interesting with the 'skylight' detail.)

That exact same story comes back, but with no-one to correct him, just after Ward kills Hand and her two guards and shows his true Hydra colours. It's after the 'Hydra' ending logo, in the episode's stinger, heard in a voice-over.

After Lorelei got everyone horny, it's time for Agents of SHIELD! Let's dig into "End of the Beginning" and see the beginning of the end!

FUCK YEAH, AGENT GARRETT IS BACK!

Ooooh, he's been investigating the Clairvoyant, and thinks it was 'rejected' off the Index... Whatever that means.

FUCK! MIKE'S IN DA HOUSE! AND HE'S ALL METALLIC ARMORED! AND HE JUST PULLED A NEO!

At a SHIELD Carrier (which I don't think is THE carrier), Coulson is being unexpected by calling a meeting with SHIELD guys and Garrett (and Agent Hand) instead of doing the normally expected and doing a video conference. Guess Coulson has dial-up problems.

So, yeah, Coulson's a believer to psychics now, given how Lorelei proved to be a mind opener.

Oooh, so Garrett's been looking into the list of subjects that SHIELD interviewed for the Index for psychic abilities and got rejected. So it could be personal maybe?

So Coulson's plan is to split them off in random teams, without giving the full information to everyone, to make sure that Clairvoyant won't be able to read their plans... Who knew Coulson went to Project Planning classes o.o That's 101 right there.

And the one who'll call the shots is SKYE! AND SHE'LL FINALLY BE SHIELD AGENT OFFICIALLY? AWESOME! ^^

Simmons is being sneaky, trying to coat herself up to Skye so she'll send a sample of her blood to colleagues, but Skye, now being Coulson's second for secrets, isn't having it.

Wow, Skye's very clever :3 She already improved the plans ^^ And Garrett likes her :3 and she's a SHIELD AGENT NOW YESSSSSS!!!

Where's my SHIELD badge? :(

Why does Ward seem upset with her promotion? o.o

What was Mike just given by the Clairvoyant? A box?

A bracer? Mike's growing more and more metallic... Oh fuck, a weapons systems? HE'S GONNA MEET THE CLAIRVOYANT FACE TO FACE???

Sitwell and Hand ain't in the mission. I don't like this.

Skye's being so professional with her handling Garrett :3

May knows Fitz-Simmons are obsessing on the GH-325. And naturally, May, who we now know is reporting to "someone", puts the two on HER side by asking them to tell her if either coulson or skye exhibit weird behavior or symptoms. Fitz-Simmons are suspicious.

Meanwhile, Skye will go spelunking on the SHIELD Psych evaluations.

Ward is paired with Garrett's soldier boy. Who is eager to kill the Clairvoyant for revenge for his partner's death.. And he's making Ward second-guess his own motivation for going after clairvoyant... Our first suspect is serving on prison. Indeed, more Psycho than Psychic.

Agent Blake and May trying to talk astrology = cute funny. Their target is on an asylum.

And Garrett's with Coulson, Garrett boring Coulson to death with old stories XD But they're so good friends talking to each other ^^ And their target got ties to Yakuza... huh.

So May's target is one Thomas Nash, a vegetable.

Ward just walked into a trap, totally calling it.

coulson walked into a trap, calling it too.

Blake's got jumped by mike, obviously. And guns don't work on metal, Blake, don't be dumb.

Fuck, Mike's pained expression when he says his old life is over... God, so much good acting :( Also, ohhh, nooo, blake's hurt :P

May's down now, possibly. Not probably, just possibly.

Blake ain't dead, just critical. Lucky.

Thomas Nash is a ghost, cover up... Suspicious.

Hand wants to debrief with Simmons... How soon can I expect her to betray coulson and tell Hand about GH-325?

No longer than 5 seconds for Simmons to get planning.

Agree with Simmons: Fitz is Watson, not her.

Agent Triplett and simmons will get horny and forget their mission XD

So Nash claimed years ago he could control people's behavior. But he was actually "sometimes" able to predict people, not control them. But SHIELD ruled him out when he became catatonic.

Oooh, blake's clever! He didn't empty his bullets on Mike, he used one of Fitz's tracer bullets, that means we can track him! Blake's better than we give him credit ^^

Interesting, Ward seems awfully intent on keeping Skye benched...

That's one way to "knock" on the door.

Ooooh, Fitz improved the probes :3

Shit, all of Mike's body has been redone in metal... He looks like Kano under his skin.

ARM MISSILE INCOMING!

...Ward sounded awfully stilted in requesting a medic team for 2 men down... And also, doesn't sound like Ward either... Somethign's off...

Awww, Mike didn't make a crater when he jumped onto the ground floor.

Coulson looks kinda awesome with a rifle.

BEHIND YOU!

AHA! Mr. Thomas Nash, I presume?

Wait what? He surrenders?

Peterson's gone? Why?

Why does Nash want to meet Coulson with his own eyes? What will that give him?

...Fuck... Nash is playign emotions on us...

Coulson threatens Nash...

What force is after Skye and Coulson??? What does Skye have??? Why will she die after giving it???

FUCK! WARD SHOT NASH!!! WHAT THE HELL?!?

No, too easy... can't be... This can't be... Clairvoyant died too easily... This can't be...

Coulson gets a message. Fury expects him at the Triskelion. About damn time.

Skye visits Ward on the containment box in the plane... And Ward claims he just got angry at the clairvoyant... And refused to let anything happen to anyone else. and doesn't regret what he did, as long as Skye is safe.

Suspicious.

Fitz-Simmons try talking to a protected line, except Fitz discovers that someone's already tapping the line... And simmons says some agents are rushing around her and... dead line.

Uh oh...

Coulson raises a very good point: how do we know Nash is the clairvoyant if he never spoke? The PC spoke for him... And I don't recall them showing him TYPING it like you do with Microsoft Sam.

Nash could've been a bait... To unveil Coulson's plans...

Fuck, the psych profiles aren't just that: they're monitoring and vigilance documenting all the moves of SHIELD agents. Clairvoyant isn't a psychic... He has SHIELD Security Clearance, it all fits! He's a SHIELD Agent!

Coulson immediately confronts Ward, angrily, demanding him to come clean: Did he kill the Clairvoyant cuz he wanted to, or did someone order him to?

Fitz, meanwhile, found May's hidden communicator, which is the one that tapped into the encrypted line... Oh no... Don't tell me...

Please don't tell me it's May... It can't be May... CUT THE DAMN LINE ALREADY FITZ!!!

FUCK, MAY'S GOT A GUN!!!

Tense mexican stand off...

Coulson concludes: May is the clairvoyant's agent.

Except... The plane suddenly takes a sharp turn. Who's piloting it?!?

FUCK!!! IT'S AGENT HAND!!! SHE'S GUNNING FOR THE TEAM!!!
