Snow Fairy || Agatha & Peter
February, always a sad month for Peter. It meant the last of winter, one of his favourite seasons (though really, all of the seasons were his favourite in some way or another). It meant Valentine's day was around the corner, which was certainly his least favourite holiday (who wanted to see couples being overly lovey and being so openly in love all over the castle when you had no one yourself?). It meant the last snowball fight of the year with his mates before March brought in warmer winds and melted all of the shining snow away. Worst of all, it meant the anniversary of his fathers death. Grimacing slightly, he forced himself to think of something else- anything else as he rushed through the Entrance Hall.
The most random of subjects crossed his mind, the unfinished Transfiguration essay sitting in his dorm room that was due in a few days, the multiple pranks he wanted to pull, the upcoming full moon; still none of it was enough to ease the upset feeling in his chest. Sighing heavily, Peter walked out onto the somewhat empty castle grounds. Many of his peers were obviously seeking warmth inside the castle, likely in their own common rooms. He didn't mind in the least, in fact he almost enjoyed the peaceful sounds of the grounds while walking around in the snow, soaking in the beauty of it all before it would melt away in a few short weeks. A sudden urge had Peter falling backwards on a clean section of the snow, his arms out stretched, his legs spread. Looking up at the grey skies, he allowed himself a little smile as he began moving his limbs up and down, forming a snow fairy in the previously untouched snow. He wasn't sure how long he lay there, moving his arms and legs back and forth, but the freezing in his limbs seemed to numb the pain previous thoughts had brought as he soaked in the (rather cold and now wet) joy of playing in the snow, even on his own.
