Dec danced in his mind a bit, trying to conjure some anecdote that would convince Harra the Hutt that he was a friend. Heâd thought that just by filling the air he might soothe her into comradeship. Heâd have to dig deeper. âQues folk are the kindest in the galaxy,â Dec said. âStill, much as weâre always in one anotherâs business doesnât mean we know everything about each other, does it? Came a time I realized I wasnât quite like the other kids I knew. Being honest, feels like I always reckoned as much, only I didnât quite have the wherewithal to put it into real thoughts until this time.â He sighed deeply. Heâd never told anyone this story. He wasnât embarrassed by it; it all just seemed unbelievable to him. That he had been the kid in the storyâso unsure of himself. It wasnât Dec as he presently knew himself. âWhen I started ruminatinâ on this,â he continued, âI sorta stopped doing all the things that Iâd been doingârunninâ around the swamp with the other kids, wreakinâ havoc and gettinâ in trouble; I stopped showinâ up to Teacherâs reading and numbers classes and for grabbinâ up woodward eels with my pals at suns-up. Just spent time by myself, ruminating, as I said. Floatinâ out on a raft, figuring that the others would cast me out anyways, so I might as well do it myself.â Harra the Hutt listened with interest, trying to tent her fingers but failing because of her girth and stubby arms. âYou like stories about folks being sad?â Dec chided. Harra was taken aback. âNo!â she cried. âBut I think you didnât stay sad, so Iâm curious to hear how you worked your way out of it.â âAw, I ainât worked a day in my life,â Dec joked. âBut while I was down in the doldrums thinkinâ about how everyone was gonna hate meâme! Can you even imagine someone hatinâ me?â Harra shook her head. She was hooked on Decâs charms. âWell, I could think of it. And it was all I could think of. If the Ques folk found out I was different from them, then they would hate me. Or so I thought. And I also thought that I was just stewinâ in my sadness and no one was takinâ notice. âCourse, that wasnât true. My brother, Aygee, noticed. âCause my brother and me, we always did everything together. So when I stopped doing everything, with or without him, he told me he wouldnât stand for it. âEnough is enough,â he told me. He didnât ask what was wrong. He just said, âWe always done everything together, and if youâre gonna go about feelinâ bad for yourself, weâre gonna do that together, too.â Thereafter, he came with me on my lonesome jaunts through the bogs, both of us feelinâ bad for me. âSooner or later, as I suspected Aygee knew I would, I started talking to him about what got me so dragged-down feelinâ. And once I told him, he said to me the smartest thing I ever heard anyoneâperson, droid, or otherâsay. He told me, âJust because youâre not the same as everyone doesnât mean youâre not normal.ââ Harra the Hutt let out a thick purr that seemed to take her off guard. âMakes sense, donât it?â Dec asked her. She nodded minutely. âJust âcause youâre not the same as everyone doesnât mean youâre not normal. How a monster-droid came up with something so clever is beyond me, but Aygee always was the one with brains in the family. But can I tell you somethinâ, Harra?â She motioned for him to go on. âIt wasnât just the words that comforted me. It was that, even after I told him the thing I was so afraid of, the thing that made me different from everyone else, he didnât leap into that mucky swamp and paddle away fast as he could. He kept on cominâ out on the raft with me and sitting in silence or yakkinâ about who-knows-what, nothinâ in particular. And yakkinâ with Aygee made it easier to do the same with my folks, who also didnât care about what I thought made me so different. They just loved me, same as they always did. And talking to Mom and Pops made talkinâ to the other kids easier, and then the neighbors, and even that woman downriver who, when I told her about myself, just said, âI donât give two cares about any silly boy from upriver! Go gather me some dry sticks soâs I can make a fire and make my dinner, dum-dum!â Iâll never forget her wisdom. âAnyway,â Dec finished, stretching his arms over his head, âthatâs my story.â

-
Schöner Moment. Kein Wort verstanden, aber das spĂŒre ich. Sie weiĂ noch nicht was sie will, aber gibt nicht auf. Fand ich nett, auch mit dem OST
-

Thereâs no denying that the 90âs was a hugely influential decade- playing host to many of the most impactful events and movements in the urban underground culture- these aspects of the 90âs are exactly what AG90 are trying to encapsulate.
AG90âs current objectives are to expand on its already respected representation across London and also to tell an ongoing story throughout its collection releases, becoming bigger, better and more influential as time passes.
The #1990LDN Lifestyle Bomber Jackets, were released last week by AG90 and have already been praised endlessly through the brandâs supporters on social media. The jacket is another item in AG90âs array of pieces that are in dedication to the influential era of the 90âs. AG90 wants us to reminisce on the positive, nostalgic feelings of the 90âs when we wear the jacket and also give props to the era that has shaped the character and style of much of todayâs urban culture.
