Why I did not Plan For Agadir holidays!!!
Agadir is a city, along with the southern coast, situated in the foothills of the Anti-Atlas Mountains predominantly known for its golf courses, widely stretched beaches, sea-side avenues with restaurants, cafes and bars. The hilltop Kasbah of this city was smashed in an earthquake, without the original old wall being devastated. Agadir has many different vibes from that of Marrakesh. This pace of life is much slower in Agadir than the other cities in Morocco but that does not impact the beauty and enchantment of this land of fantasies. Moreover being on the beaches of Agadir, one could feel the absorbing serenity in the atmosphere, away from the commotion of life, and could feel the caressing touch of the pleasant breeze on the face. The people who plan their cheap Agadir holidays to this peaceful place mostly go on unusual excursions which are chosen from a whole variety of trendy options to choose from.
We were not an exception to others, while on our trip to this exotic place of undisturbed natural beauty. As we went to the highest point on a mountain, the spectacular views were enough for a beautiful photo shoot. From far away the socks could be sighted in the city. The souks that were in Agadir were quite different from the ones in Marrakesh as they are rawer and catered to the locals. As we proceeded through the alleys and other corners of the place, we could easily spot the locals flooding the market for daily necessities.
On the second day of our trip, we went on a camel ride. It was very interesting and amusing affair as we went relishing some of the local scenic sights like the stunning royal palace. While we were on our trip to Agadir, how could we forget to visit the equally fascinating city, Taghazout that is about half an hour outside of Agadir? Here, one can wander around the city in comfortable clothing like shorts and vests without feeling odd. We spent some time loitering on the beach and finally returned to Agadir on the last day.
Returning to Agadir on the last day of the trip, we booked an excursion to Paradise Valley. The Paradise Valley is all flaunted with beautiful flowers and here we also got to know how Argon Oil is made. Proceeding further we wandered through the Atlas Mountains and swam through the rock pools among the scenery that resembled the scenic backdrop from Jurassic Park.
This is how our amazing mood uplifting trip concluded, and we went back wondering what kept us waiting for so long, not preparing for this memorable trip.
