The Distant Space premier is finally right around the corner. I can't not I'm not nervous, but it's more of an excited nervous. My team and I have been prepping for weeks, and at this moment we have a NYRU spinning all night, the art work of 5 local artists, two short films premier before mine, a food truck, and the title sponsor of Camelback Scion. Just seriously so excited.

AFRANZ IS THINKING
Hello everyone. This blog post will be unlike what I typically post, in that I decided to start a new segment casually titled, "Afranz is Thinking" in which I post my thoughts and theories I develop in my head throughout the day and usually do not share with anyone. Luckily, possibly unluckily, for you I am going to begin posting them on my blog, in hopes that it starts a discussion or gives you inspiration to add to or debunk these theories on your own. With that said, I hope you enjoy reading, and ignore my grammar because I really don't care.
For this post I am just going to call it:
Lifestyles Forced Upon Us
Just having been developed today, this theory was sparked as I walked past a coworker I saw in the break room at my part-time job. I work at a corporation as a student worker, and being a student I feel I am fortunate enough to have an innocent, naive outside look at the individuals that work I work with. Many of them are older, just trying to make it through each day one at a time, only to come home to a quiet lifestyle that may involve television or spending time with family. As I reflected upon this lifestyle I eventually developed three levels of lifestyles one can either choose or has been forced upon us. These three lifestyles I have carefully labeled as to Survive, Achieve or Discover.
It seems to me that there are really only three ways to live life, and these labels have been incredibly generalized to quickly prove a point. Meaning, this doesn't mean everyone lives life like this, there are exceptions, and do not feel offended by these categories... please. However, I still wish to share my thoughts with you. The first lifestyle is to survive. In this lifestyle the individual is just hoping to make it through each day to live another. For example my dear coworker I mentioned earlier, or the unfortunate others living in third world countries. The second being to achieve, which is the lifestyle I have chosen. I was brought up in a middle class family and my peers and I have set goals for our lives, wishing to achieve them. Our actions and decisions every day are mostly for the purpose of achieving our goals. The final lifestyle is to discover, and this lifestyle is fits with the rich and fortunate, who do not have to worry about surviving, and have already achieved or feel no need to. This lifestyle is all about finding a purpose, finding love, or even as simple as finding anything to do. However, the lifestyle of discovery is not just reserved for the wealthy, but also for those who have no attachment to their immediate society and actually head out to explore the world. To see what else is out there and leave their comfort zone just because they can. Now, to add, one may switch lifestyle through out there lives, as they are not set in stone.
That is all for now. Feel free to comment.
Take care everyone!
