Relaxation Sunday . It’s been a while since my last post. I’ve had a bit of a lay back May. Having finished my uni studies (dissertation handed in... yaaaas!!) and going to Spain for a long break, the month has flown by and little progress has been made to the house. . The motivation came back last weekend and we finally tackled the floor of the second living room. Yesterday I went through the boxes were all our decoration bit ‘n’ bobs have been for the last two years, and we can finally sit in a fully finished room!! 👏🏼 (about time tbh 😆) . Here is one of my favourite corners of the house. We bought this picture in Hoi An during our trip to Vietnam last year. The plant pot also came from Vietnam, although I bought it in the clearance section of TKmaxx yesterday 😂 . Hello weekend! Best time of the week, and I should also say best of the year, although this spring is a bit dull. . I’ve started to grow my indoor plant collection, and I must say I’m impressed. I never manage to keep them alive, but these two are still green and happy after two full weeks under my care (that’s some freaking progress!! 😂). We just need more sun now, both they and I. Still a long way to go, but... the sofa it’s out of the storage room after nine months!! We’ve missed it so much! The living room is taking shape. Last night we didn’t want to go to bed, it was 1am when we finally surrendered. . Time to deal with the room we’ve been using as storage. Last floorboards to sand (more dust 😩).
