Hello! SB here, so I talked with Cane regarding the designs and they have explanations for most of them!
Original Explanation for Vox and Val:
Vox is a smaller build and floats around, and has AUX (like his name) cords on the end of his suit. Plugs and rabbit ears to play with him being a TV demon.
Vox's face would be live action/ or he would communicate with ads and TV shows to make him uncanny adding something special to him. (He would talk kind of like the Master from Fallout where there are alot of different voices)
His gloves and pin are of his cult symbol.
He still has hypnotic powers which he uses with his staff to steal energy from other demons.
Valentino is a Decorated Beauty (Mexican moth adding to his heritage) and he alot more patterns and a different color scheme.
He has big fluffy arms and feet like a moth. Moth feet that look like heels.
His face is a fusion of a gas mask (his old life) which look similar to a moths face. He smokes his cigarette which permeates out of the gas masks nose. And his eyes are shapes like hearts and his pupils glow in the dark. He is attracted to Vox's screens and the light he radiates.
Valentino is his past life worked with the Mafia, he was a chemist. He would get rid of the bodies (acid) and make drugs for the Mafia his specialty was PCP.
His hobby was collecting bugs.
Eventually they get rid of him trying to pin the blame on Valentino. They put him in a room and gassed him to death.
He comes back weak and gets mugged by Anthony in hell. Wanting money for drugs. He then promises hes useful to him alive as he use to make drugs. He introduces him to his specialty Angel Dust. Which eventually becomes his name because of how addicted he gets.
They become a crime duo, and they rise. Valentino already knowing how the mafia works is able to adapt to this lifestyle. He is Angels first male partner, and this makes AngelDust dependent as its his first.
Vox recognizes Valentinos power rising and wants in on it. Meeting up he strikes a deal with him to become an overlord together.
Valentino betrays AngelDust and makes him his property.
The gas coming out of his mask is a drug as well as his saliva (how he died/ what his profession was)
Still uses chemistry to make his stuff more powerful.
Vox in his past life was a cult leader who had his own TV show (when TV became popular) he targeted children with his colorful TV show. Where he was a Willy Wonka/ Pewee character.
When parents put their kids in front of the TV he would brainwashed them. He eventually lures the kids out of towns through the show, Pied Piper style.
He uses these kids to lure in more kids as they are more vulnerable.
He sells children off to other countries, pedophile rings, blackmarket whichever. He knows that its a way for him to capitalize off degenerates with large pockets.
Parents eventually find him and inact justice. They beat him till hes unrecognizable, throwing him barely alive in the ocean where he drowns eventually getting eaten by sharks.
His new form is reminises of a cartoon character children would watch. But he lacks his own face/identity. He can't stay physical for too long and lives through electricity and soul energy.
Valentino is attracted to him (power wise and sexually) Vox exploits his weaknesses and doesn’t see him in this way so he strings him along. With pornagraphy, drugs, and all of his vices.
Vox chooses him because he realizes how easy he is to manipulate with his light. And is a valuable pawn.
Vox is the head of the V's.
Vox's rivalry is out of rejection. As he wanted Alastor because of him being a physical demon, and that with both of them controlling the airwaves/ press. He is jealous that Alastor has an actual body while he does not.
Is still a control freak hence why he is obsessed with keeping all eyes on him.
Vox is an unfeeling being who uses only logic to think.
1. Changed the color palette for less eyestrain.
2. Expanded on the bugs as I used several as refrences (Bees, Honeypot Ant, mantis, and flies of course)
3. Her eyes are there Gluttony sign. They do not close or blink and are constantly dilated.
4. Her jaw is hung upon and she drools constantly and her teeth are based on Beelzebubs teeth from his original design as well as the wings. Small extra bug limbs
5. She has 2 sets of palps on her cheeks and her head (which she uses to look more like a hellhound)
6. She sings to attract party goers which encourages them to drink and consume.
7. Her body is very skinny as her stomach is actually in her lower abdomen that has her second mouth (which she actually uses to eat)
8. She eats other demons but mainly her own people. They digest in her abdomen and become Beelzejuice which she collects and feeds to others. She constantly drools out the Beelzejuice.
9. Consuming too much Beelzejuice makes the consumer melt from the inside out, eventually becoming a huge puddle of booze themselves.
10. She has to stay in the Gluttony ring as other sins fear she would devour all of their people.
11. Obviously insatiable hunger.
He is an outlier for greed Imps, as they are all thinner and more agile. Crimson is large and booming making him more intimidating.
His horns are in the shape of a hat as his horns are larger.
He doesn't have a single gold tooth all of his teeth are golden.
Changed his outfit color scheme to look more like greed.
Pushed for his puffy pants and made them bigger and puffier to make him look larger.
Lockpicking tail still, his is however broken in several places from his years in the this field.
Crimson is head of a blackmarket organization. Specifically he gets his hands on very powerful weapons to sell them to overlords and powerful demons.
Crimson isn't the monogamous fellow and actually has a fetish for shark demons. He has a few children under his wing to help his "buissness" Moxxie is his last and youngest child.
Crimson has some internalized self hatred of imps, as they are seen as lower and weaker. No matter how hard he tries and succeeds and despite him breaking the imp mold. He will always be seen as weaker. But still wants a child to inherit his buissness.
He sleeps with a Wrathian woman.
Thinking his child would inherit more Wrathian traits and be more aggressive/ become very simular to him if not bigger. He is disappointed when Moxxie is born and gets his weaker recessive Greed traits.
Out of anger he kills his wife, drowning her without Moxxies knowledge.
He sees that Moxxie is weaker, frailer, and more passive. He is his biggest failure. He only keeps him as a possible prodigy. And takes it out on him by burning his cigar on his face as discipline making Moxxies iconic freakles.
As Moxxie grows his talent is knowing about firearms, weapon forging, and is overall intelligent.
Moxxie only knowing this kind of life hates his father, yet desperately craves for his approval and affection.
Chaz also works with Moxxie and they are the middle man selling weapons. Chaz gets into Crimsons good graces, he acts like a lovable moron. Pretending to be somewhat dimwitted but is incredibly reliable and follows Crimsons orders to a T. Gaining his trust and told tons of secrets about the buissness and where the weapons are.
Crimson compares him to Moxxie and often tortures him by hanging him up by his tail to "feed to the sharks". Now on thin ice Crimson gives them a task to sell a lucrative crate of fire arms that would be a huge pay off.
Chaz sets them up and they get ratted on. All the sharks under Crimsons control lose their allegiance and instead follow Chaz who is one of them. Chaz takes over Crimson is locked up, Moxxie however is on the run now.
Gave her tons of purples and blues to give her a regal look. And also highlights her goth esthetic.
Her crown is fused to her skull much like her father's.
Gave her star and moon patterns to highlight her status and powers.
Gave her a mix of Stella's and Stolas's feathers/features.
Gave her a long neck to highlight her being younger and royal, she looks like a teenager still growing.
Her wings also wrap around her dress and has stars in her feathers.
Galaxy Dress
Stolas multiple eyes. But they all have irises.
Octavia is born Stella does her best to raise her, but experiences postpartum depression leaving her to not fully commit to Octavia in her younger years, though she does very much love Octavia.
Stella uses and abuses medication to cope, leaving her not always present.
Octavia has the standard royalty childhood where servants and butlers raise her instead of Stella and especially Stolas. She grows fond of them
This gives her an appreciation for imps, she memorize all of their names and birthdays as to her they are her family. She is very kind to them and when her parents aren't looking she helps with chores and other things they do.
Many imps have a soft spot for her and look to her fondly.
She wants to grow up to be a kind queen and to be more at one with her people/family. And doesn't realize imps are lower class and or slaves.
Two imps (Orion and Marabel) in particular she grows very close to as they help her with learning spells and give her advice her parents should of given her. Essentially they are house slaves.
Orion was bought as a child from the Greed ring, as a form of offering to Stolas. And Marabel was given to Stolas from a Wrathian family that couldn't provide enough food as a alternative.
Both of their entire lives they've lived to serve the Goetia.
Blitzo also did servant tasks to raise Octavia, but doesn't really get to know her. Striker wants to kill all the Goetia, overlords and anything that puts imps in servitude.
Stella in Octavias teenage years begins to get closer to her daughter. She was distant as Octavia reminded her of herself when she was younger.
When Octavia finally becomes of age (16 in my version) to be able to learn more advanced spells and to eventually fulfill Stolas's position.
Stolas gets the book taken on her birthday. Postponing her initiation. And in a fit of betrayal and rage Stolas begins to round up as many of his Imps as possible to imprison them and or execute them, thinking that all imps are conspiring to ruin him.
Octavia does her best to defend themselves, as they are her family and friends. Stolas thinking his daughter is being brainwashed sends Orion and Marabel into a prison. He states that imps aren't to be trusted, and that her blood is a stronger bond than shackles.
Octavia doesn't understand this As her whole life she's been groomed to see the Goetia only being good beings. And when she tries to get confirmation of this from the imprisoned imps, they revealed that alot of them are slaves/prisoners/ and were sold off to the Goetia.
This gives her a dilemma to either become a Goetia and fulfill her destiny which might continue the pain Goetias cause, or to sully the Goetias name along side her father and be seen as the new lowest creatures in hell where even hellhounds and imps wouldn't want you as servants.
