Afghanistan women’s players have told the Guardian of sexual and physical abuse they claim they suffered from Keramuudin Karim
Spread this like wild fire!! I'm totally shattered to hear of the terror and trauma caused by the AFF to their WNT!!
Afghanistan Women's National Team to play in Victorian leagues
The Afghanistan women's national team has been officially accepted into Football Victoria's competitions for 2022.
Key info about their participation
Staying together upon their arrival in Australia and supported by A-Leagues club Melbourne Victory, the team-in-exile has now been earmarked for a place in Football Victoria's State Leagues for the coming season, with talks continuing about which of the federation's seven tiers of women's football will be most appropriate. [...] The team will be a full participant throughout 2022, regardless of which league it plays in, with games counting for points and the team able to be promoted or relegated at the end of the season. The group will be supplied with full operational, administrative and coaching support from the A-Leagues giants, and they will wear a custom kit that clearly identifies them as Afghanistan's team. Their home ground and the full make-up of their coaching staff throughout the season have not been finalised.
About the team and what they hope to achieve
With the encouragement of former captain Khalida Popal -- who helped to establish the team in 2007 before being forced to flee for her safety in 2011, eventually settling in Denmark -- the team sought to remain together upon their arrival in Australia and their safety was secured. Still viewing themselves as representatives of Afghanistan regardless of the Taliban's views, they hope to use their participation in the Victorian leagues to build a platform that will eventually allow them to lobby FIFA, national federations and governments to allow them to represent their country once again on the international stage.
And a statement from their current captain:
"We wanted to stay together as a team to show that the Taliban can take away our country but not our right to play the sport we love."
"Women and girl football players have been evacuated from Afghanistan - now they need our help to build a new life."

Girl Power & Afghanistan WNT at UN Global Goals World Cup | 18.05.2016
Many of our players in Europe recently took part in the UN Global Goals World Cup as part of the Girl Power Organization's Football Team. The Girl Power Team, as you may know from this site, is a group of refugee and immigrant women who live in different European countries and come as together to play and use football as a tool to encourage other women around the world to stand for their rights. The UN Global Goals World Cup is in its first year and was comprised of 24 teams. Each team was playing for one of the 17 global goals. The UN's Global Goal initiative and descriptions of each goal can be found here: http://www.globalgoals.org/#the-goals. Our team pledged that they were playing for Goal #10: Reduced Inequalities. On May 15th, the Afghanistan WNT players traveled from Holland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway, to Copenhagen and enjoyed their first training together as a group in quite some time. It was good to get everyone together to bond and to shake off any jetlag and pre-tournament jitters. The training session made for some good laughs and great memories!
