    there is a gentleness to her   that contradicts her fiery soul;  one that reminds her of her own daughter.  her exterior is harsh,  like the shell of the egg,  but inside she is gentle and bright.  that is how most immortals behave;  if you were to be gentle completely,  the events of the world would easily overwhelm you,  the waves of life devouring you in their ichor-like violence.  she can smell the divinity on her;  a species similar to hers,  but with itâs minor differences---  a reality of all the bloodlines of the vampires,  mixed and crossbred.  â how is it that youâve become the way you are,  little one ? â   was she turned,  or born ?Â
