The first time- they are just a passing face, just a noise in the background when you are in the phase of becoming yourself.

You pass by them quickly, never realizing what they will mean to you someday.

The second time- when the spark ignites, but the timing isn’t right. You feel that pull but life drags each of you in the opposite directions.

One of you isn’t ready or maybe both of you.

Then comes the third time- when the dust settles.

When you have been broken, healed and become softer and more mature in all the right places.When your heart no longer flinches or trembles in fear of love.

This time, it doesn’t leave. You just know, no questions.

Because some souls are perhaps destined to find us more than one time.

Not to test us, but to meet us.
